Building two brands from the ground up has not come easy for Doe Deere.

Her passion has served as the driving force to her success from the moment she became an entrepreneur.

Passion along with authenticity is what she believes is critical for all women to hold as they create the life of their dreams.

Deere is the founder of the jewelry line, Poppy Angeloff. It’s an eponymous brand that is Victorian inspired for the millennial woman.

It is steadily growing and on track to break 2018 sales. If one knows Deere, then they know that this is only the beginning.

Deere initially became an accidental entrepreneur. She and her husband founded Lime Crime cosmetics only after generating buzz from followers on her makeup artistry skills.

As she began to receive countless inquiries into how she was creating her signature and eye catching makeup looks, Deere dove head first into turning her gift into profit.

They started small and struggled to find a manufacturer that would take on a small company, but eventually they did land a manufacturer.

From there, success seemed to come overnight. Selling out their first 1,000 eye shadows in every color within a week.

For ten years, Deere and her husband owned and operated Lime Crime. In 2018 they sold the company.

Now their primary focus is expanding the Poppy brand.

After over a decade of entrepreneurship, Deere believes in holding steadfast to three rules in order to grow a business such as Lime Crime or Poppy Angeloff.

The first is maintaining passion for what you are selling.

The second is to truly put yourself in the role of the customer.

The third is to take risks.

Combined, these rules have served as the backbone for Deere going from just an idea to a multi-million dollar brand, two times over.

And it is this advice that is currently inspiring countless women to live authentically and follow their passions.

Doe Deere was able to start a beauty trend of expression through bold pigments. With no intention at all, she created cult like following of makeup lovers. Eventually, the beauty blogger began to see she could create her own brand to sell to these cult like followers. Lime Crime was born to be a brand that allowed a person’s inner unicorn to come to life. Doe Deere herself has always had a personality that is expressive and that stands from something. By her creation of this fun loving brand, she has allowed other women to feel empowered and expressive.

Doe Deere’s entrepreneur hustle is birthed out of voyage from Russia to America. Her, her mother and her sister encountered a lot of hardships to live a successful and happy life in America. Back in Russia, as a young child she always dreamt of coming to America. She saw the United States as a place of hope and new beginnings.

When Doe Deere and her family landed in the United States, when she was a teenager she quickly began to see the United States was a great place but was not always a perfectly painted picture. Her mother’s accounting income supported the family for a short period of time but eventually the family was evicted from their home. They had to find refuge in staying in shelters and eating at a food pantry.

These were the bleak but instrumental moments for the future beauty boss. Doe Deere saw the struggle. She lived through the struggle. But she did not let the struggle overcome her. Instead, she turned her passion into a career that began as beauty blogging. She began fashion designing. What really caused her to take off was her makeup company Lime Crime. What was once a beauty trend of brightly colored eyelids and hot pink lips became the foundation of what is today Lime Crime. Lime Crime is a makeup brand that supports aiding animals that have been neglected or abused. Her brand does not test on animals and her brand fights back against those that do test on animals.

Julie Zuckerberg, the U.S. Talent Acquisition Lead of the Deutsche Bank, has many strategies to bring the best talents into the firms wherever she worked. She uses the aggressive policy of not leaving any type of sources as Zuckerberg feels that an excellent pool of candidates contains people from diverse backgrounds and conditions. Julie is well conceived by the idea of creating a great organization and culture by adding highly-skilled talents into it and working towards making Deutsche Bank U.S. something special. She is equally focused on making the name of the bank as a highly reputable brand considering that can add a lot of business and the best talents to its core. The top leadership of the firm is looking for her suggestions and consults with her often as they are confident that she can revolutionize its hiring policies and take further on its mission to innovate from the grass root level. As the Talent Acquisition Lead, Zuckerberg frames and negotiates senior roles such as Managing Director level offerings for the different business heads under the U.S. business division. She is also leading the teams as the bespoke of recruitment strategies and gives clear direction on gaps in DB, potential attrition, etc.



Before joining the Deutsche Bank, Zuckerberg worked with a number of firms including Hudson, Citi, and New York Life Insurance Company. She started her career with Hudson in 2002 as Director of Candidate Placement and took care of various recruitments including hiring support staff both temporary and permanent, case managers, paralegals, and attorneys for the clients of Hudson. She closely worked with employees and the management to address workplace issues and ensured compliance to legal requirements. In October 2007, Zuckerberg joined Citi as the Executive Recruiter North America of the firm. She led the full-cycle recruitment including the negotiations on Director and Managing Director roles for business verticals from CitiCards to Consumer Marketing. The senior business leaders are regularly consulted by her on competitive markets, compensation trends, recruitment strategies, and talent. She worked closely with different teams to frame complex job offers in immigration in collaboration, relocation, equity buyouts, deferred awards, and clawbacks and helped in its negotiations. Zuckerberg also worked with global teams to ensure sufficient supply of talents which require diverse skills from across the world and took care of the candidates’ expatriate process and international relocation procedure. She joined New York Life Insurance Company as the Experienced Hire Recruiting Lead in November 2013 and continued for four months and later relieved for Deutsche Bank.



Zuckerberg completed her graduation in Philosophy from the City University of New York-Brooklyn College. She also did her Law graduation from New York Law School. Her hobbies include cycling, running, reading, and workouts. Zuckerberg is a fitness freak and has written a number of blogs related to fitness. She also spends time in economic empowerment, animal welfare, human rights, technology development, conserving culture, arts as she is very interested in volunteer programs and thinks that it is a great way of connecting with people and the community.


Rona Borre, the owner and founder of Instant Alliance, a leading staffing and recruiting company is a whirling dervish when it comes to running her business. Not only did she start the business in 2001, but she has turned it into a mega company, as it now earns millions and many thought she would fail from the outset.

Not only was she competing in a primary market, but all of her competitors had years of experience so popular thought had it that she would never make it. So much for popular thought. Borre likes to hire young and energetic account executives who are eager to learn and who want to earn a lot of money. She doesn’t need too many of them, but just enough to crack the record books with their sales. After all, she had led the sales totals in a large staffing company before starting Instant Alliance.
