Doing what they do best, making electronic beats the duo known as the Chainsmokers wanted more in order to rise above the common talent. Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, also known as the Chainsmokers, have a genuine love for their music and the need to have a connection with their fans. In order to do so, they have engaged in helping songwriters understand their lives and have help tailored the lyrics of their songs to portray such. Alex was fixing to lose the previous artist he had worked with and was introduced to Andrew and from then on they hit it off. Together interweaving the talent of Taggart being a producer and Pall’s Dj gigs the picture became clearer. Every day they would get together and work on their music and were in awe they were doing something they loved to do without it feeling as if it was a job. Wanting their music to be personalized with a sense of individuality there was a journey to learn their true self. The two have started singing in their own songs and recently performed with Halsey. Both of them listen to a wide array of music and have a strong desire to bring music that others can relate to. The mash-up of the many genres allowed for their DJ experience and the personalized lyrics to set them apart from other artists. Having social media allows for the duo to get a feel of the type of fans that are moved by their music. The wide age range of their fans encourages them to expand their ways in which they perform striving to stand out from the rest of the musicians. Still with much ground to cover the two work on ways they can engage their fans and keep the music alive. Some of their songs are “Closer”, “Waterbed”, “Roses”, and “Don’t Let me Down.”

The Chainsmokers is an electronic dance DJ duo (Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart) from New York. Five of their songs managed to reach the top 10 list on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Both Pall and Taggart started as deejays single-handedly before coming together to form The Chainsmokers.

Who’s Alex Pall?

While growing up in New York City, Pall always knew that he would pursue a career in deejaying. According to him, pursuing music is more like fun than a job. Pall made a realization that dance music was becoming part of his life and decided to give it a proper shot. He later got the chance to meet Andrew Taggart when he was working with their current manager.

Drew and Pall had the same ambition with regards to music. Pall believes that they knew what they liked musically after a few days of meeting each other. The DJs were both very observant about the ongoing events around them and trends in electronic dance music. They also liked to experiment with different sounds before coming up with their unique sound.

The Birth of “The Chainsmokers”

Through their frequent interactions, Drew and Pall focused on shaping an identity around their music. They were also visionary about making an impact in the music industry. They got together every day with a goal of working on music and creating their identity as artists. Though the DJs didn’t want to treat it like a job, they knew that there was a lot for them to learn and cover.

Turning Passion to Income

Andrew Taggart and Alex Pal still have the same core values. They’re also pushing themselves harder to become better artists since they’re passionate about music. Pall believes that people relate to their music on a deeper level. As a band, The Chainsmokers is continuously on a journey of self-discovery and innovation.

Drew and Pall write and produce their music. Drew together with other talented vocalists sang in some of their songs. The Chainsmokers grew into a larger music group and is continuously amassing fans from different parts of the world. With the already released music, it’s safe to say that two DJs managed to secure a spot for themselves in the mainstream music industry.

Ryan Seacrest has been extremely busy this year and as it turns out he’s can only do so much. We all have seen him in his multiple jobs whether its On Air with Ryan or sitting next to Kelly Ripa for their show Live with Kelly and Ryan. He now lives in New York from the busy life of Los Angeles and looks like he has no intentions of slowing down. At 43, he is fit and healthy and doing making good with the adjustment to New York. His morning TV show keeps him on his toes. He juggles his day by waking up at the crack of dawn around 6 a.m. This means a fast shower and shave then he’s off to check the forecast of the day. Next, he is dressed in a hoodie, t-shirt, sweats and Uggs heading out the door. Ryan visits his normal spot downstairs to start his day off with matcha tea then a coffee.

Seacrest admits that back in his 30s and 20s, working out was essential in his life. He was working out during the noon hour and felt embarrassed to tell people. Now while he is on the live show, Ryan has a trainer in tow to help keep him balanced. His daily fitness can go from boxing or using the Peloton bike right before work. To prepare the best for his show, he looks over the current news and often takes a phone call interview. Ryan Seacrest says if you want success, then people like to hear “yes.”

His other passion is being a vegan. Ryan considers himself an insane foodie. To keep his mind tight and clear its been suggested to him that he should consider meditation. Ryan also talks about how now he simply puts his phone down. He finds this to be very comforting especially away on a trip.

Ryan Seacrest lives by keeping it easy when being a host on his many jobs. He learned that great advice when he worked with Dick Clark before he died. Ryan Seacrest is certainly a man to admire when it comes to balance, great work ethic and enjoying life.

In October 1957, Lawrence Bender was born in the Bronx, New York City, and named Lawrence Kirk Bender. Being from the Roman descent, Bender attended the University of Maine and studied civil engineering. He took up ballet dancing, only to drop it for acting after he sustained an injury. Finally, he moved into film production.

Lawrence Bender is the only producer who has succeeded at producing two successive films at the Berlin Film Festival competition. The films he produced were Good Will Hunting and Jackie Brown in 1997. He was in 1995 nominated for the best picture in Pulp Fiction, best picture in Good Will Hunting 1998, and best picture in Inglourious Basterds 2010.

His company has, over the years, achieved success in the production of commercials and music. In 2001, his company, A Band Apart, shot 75 commercials and music videos. Following this huge achievement, the company earned itself 13 MTV Music Video Award nominations.

Best Movie

Although there are many movies produced by Lawrence Bender, my favorite is Good Will Hunting. It may be two decades old, but it remains to be one of the unique films of all time. One beautiful aspect of this movie is that it is authentic. Affleck and Damon grew up together in real life.

The friendship between Chuckie, Will, Morgan, and Billy is one of a kind, and this particularly is the magnet that holds the movie together. Their friendship just goes to tell the viewer that family comes in different forms. Well, if there is something else I find totally awesome is the Boston accents. Every role in the movie brings out perfection. In this movie, as opposed to most others, are actors that seem to be in their perfect roles.

Every bit of it comes out powerful, and this is just one of the reasons the movie is a huge success to date. I guess, in a really good movie, a bit of romance is a huge plus. I really love the chemistry felt between Matt Damon and Minnie Driver.

Robin Williams happens to be a darling in every movie he features. Well, in this one, no one would have played Sean Maguire better than him. Additionally, despite the seriousness of the movie, I like the comical exchanges in between as they make Lawrence Bender a great producer.

Fast forward to 2018.The Chainsmokers gave their loyal listeners, and eager new adopters, a new gift on January 17, 2018, in the form of the new dance-rock track, “Sick Boy”. Sick Boy is a very deep and dark song.

Lyrics from Sick Boy:

“I’m from the east side of America

Where we choose pride over character

And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is

I live on the west side of America

Where they spin lies into fairy dust

And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is us”

After 9 months of not releasing any new songs, The Chainsmokers thinks that “Sick Boy” will be a success for them. The duo recently performed at the Conrad hotel in New York City, at a Hilton and American Express card member special event.

The Chainsmoker recently had a very detailed interview with forbes.com and it is a very interesting read. They talk about the single Sick Boy, what motivates them to do such a dark record, a new era in their music and a whole lot more.
