One of the best female plastic surgeons in the country is Dr. Jennifer Walden. She is located in Austin, TX where she has established a practice. Her education started at Anderson High School and then obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas. Following her bachelor’s degree, she was placed on a waitlist for the University of Texas Medical Branch where she was eventually chosen and graduated as the salutatorian of her class. Following her residency, she took a fellowship in Manhattan at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. The department chairman was Dr. Sherrell Aston. Dr. Jennifer Walden worked there for seven and half years following her fellowship. She worked heavily on the reintroduction of silicone breast implants. While in New York, she was also the academic appointment for Clinical Instructor of Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center.
Following this work, she moved back to Austin, TX for her two sons to be raised closer to her family. When she returned she opened a private practice called Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center in Westlake Hills and a satellite office in Marble Hills, TX. In conjunction with her own practices, she works with many of the hospitals in the area Hospital at Westlake Medical Center, Seton Hospital, and Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Jennifer Walden works significantly with advanced technologies in her practices. She also is known for using Vectra which a 3D imaging software to give patients a look at the what the anticipate the outcome of the surgery. Dr. Walden also uses ThermiVa, which allow enables vaginal tightening through a temperature-controlled radio frequency signal.
