Yanni Hufnagel is a 34-year Jewish boy from Scarsdale New York. As a kid, he was massively fascinated by basketball.

Early on in his life, he worked as a broadcaster at his town’s public television station. Soon after, during his first year at Cornell University, he became a basketball manager. Internship opportunities soon followed and connections began forming. In 2009 Yanni Hufnagel was introduced to the head coach at Harvard and became a volunteer assistant coach with an unpaid intern salary. As soon as he received this job he began recruiting players.

Some of his highlights include being appointed to coach Team USA youth team at the 19th Maccabiah games in Israel, joining the Vanderbilt Commodores, as an assistant coach under Kevin Stallings, joining the California Golden Bears led by Cuonzo Martin. And last but not least, Hufnagel accepted an assisting coaching position with Eric Musselman and the University of Nevada Wolfpack men’s basketball team.

Yanni Hufnagel has gained a fantastic reputation in the basketball sphere. He was coached or has been an assistant coach at many prestigious schools around the world. He is a great recruiter and a great salesman when it comes down to recruiting promising basketball players. Over the years of being a coaching assistant, Yanni Hufnagel’s track record had become incredibly successful.

Thanks to his impressive accomplishments, Yanni Hufnagel has become one of the youngest and most successful sought after coaches in the United States and has motivated numerous youngsters, who decided to follow in his footsteps.
